CYBERJAYA: For the first time, Malaysians can now pay for the purchase of their home via eWallet. MCT Bhd (MCT), a subsidiary of Philippines largest property developer Ayala Land Inc, recently announced it was introducing this cashless payment facility via Touch ‘n Go eWallet for the added convenience of potential homebuyers securing their units by MCT.

MCT CEO Teh Heng Chong announced the introduction of eWallet payment at the unveiling of the refurbished sales gallery of the Lakefront development in Cyberjaya. This is held in conjunction with a site visit by key management members of MCT to the LakeFront residences and LakeFront Homes, two of the company’s ongoing projects in the area.

According to MCT director (Sales and Marketing) Chee Kok Keong, the introduction of eWallet payments is in tandem with the developer’s objective to become Malaysia’s leading property developer of choice in Malaysia.

“We are improving our overall processes and systems as we aim to enhance customer experience when purchasing a property. It has become an important element in MCT to ensure that the constant improvement of quality in our services is aligned with our main shareholder Ayala Land Inc’s brand promise — Enhancing Land, Enriching Lives for More People,” Chee explained.

In conjunction with the unveiling of the new showroom, the developer also announced the launch of a new campaign dubbed “Own Your Dream Home,” for its LakeFront Homes development.

Teh said, “The “Own Your Dream Home” campaign offers potential buyers the chance to own LakeFront Homes unit with affirmative payment term subject to the loan approval.

“The campaign was initially intended to last until the end of February 2020, however, due to overwhelming response, we will extend it until the end of March 2020, giving potential buyers more time to find the right home with MCT.”

MCT made its initial foray into Cyberjaya through LakeFront Villa, a development consisting of luxury themed bungalows sitting on a 16-acre site, complete with a clubhouse, which is situated only a few kilometres from key universities and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
