KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 30): Avaland Bhd’s RM145 million Casa Bayu residential development located in its over 400-acre Cybersouth township has achieved a take-up rate of 95%, according to a press statement on Wednesday.

“Casa Bayu was designed with our brand purpose in mind and aspires to create a positive change by creating communities and enhancing lives, with a special focus on green spaces. The planning guidelines only require a 10% green footprint but with this development, we’ve tripled the allocation,” said Avaland’s chief executive officer Teh Heng Chong.

Casa Bayu is spread across 13.1 acres of land and comprises five four-storey, low-rise apartment blocks with a total of 80 units, as well as 180 townhouses. These units have been completed and handed over to buyers.

The apartment units have built-ups ranging from 926 to 1,087 square feet (sq ft), with prices ranging from RM429,800 to RM566,800. On the other hand, the townhouse built-ups range from 1,238 to 1,862 sq ft, with prices between RM560,000 and RM665,000.

The development recorded Qlassic scores of 75% for the low-rise apartments, and 78% for the townhouses.

Meanwhile, the developer launched a customer engagement mobile application this month, named ACE, which stands for “Avaland Connects Everyone”. The app is designed to help customers from the initial sales touchpoint, all the way to post-vacant possession.

The app’s key features include facilitating construction progress update, key collection booking, defect management, maintenance fee payment, visitor management and facility booking. Other features include reward programmes covering membership rewards, the buyer-get-buyer reward programme, and buyer’s repeat purchase reward programme.
